Hork Do

Hork is a Pacific Northwest native who grew up in Kent, Washington. He earned both his degrees at the University of Washington, first earning his BA in American Ethnic Studies with double minors in Education and Diversity, then going on to complete his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree as well. Go Huskies!
Hork has experience treating patients across a wide range of patient populations, working with his school and collegiate athletes, geriatric patients, post-surgical rehab, and Labor and Industries cases.

I started at Eastside Sports Rehab right after I injured my right knee (torn ACL), rehabilitating it for surgery. After 10 intense weeks I was ready for surgery and two weeks later we started therapy again to recover from surgery. In a few words, thanks to Lisa’s guidance and great work I was able to ski again without missing a season.

Apr 9th 2019I’ve been to PT before at several places. Most PT clinics seem to have you spend the majority of your appointment with an aide or tech doing exercises that you could be doing at home and only a short time with the actual Physical Therapist.

ESRC differs from other clinics, in that you get a full hour with the PT. They don’t pawn you off to some assistant to do the basics. They sit with you, walk through your challenges, suggest new ideas to try things, and more. It’s a full end-to-end type clinic, with the focus on care and recovery.

Growing up in Seattle, Mike competed in many sports while also taking violin lessons for 15 years.After graduating from Garfield High School as Valedictorian, he went on to the University of Washington where he was initially accepted into the Electrical Engineering school before switching to Physical Therapy after volunteering at Harborview and Children’s Hospital.
Over the past 33 years, Mike has worked in Outpatient Rehab and Sports Medicine with an initial focus on spine rehab.

Cara was born and raised in the greater Seattle area, where she established her roots and love for the outdoors. Growing up, she ran competitively in both track and cross country, which ignited her enthusiasm for the field of Physical Therapy.
Cara continued her passion for running and the human body at Boise State University where she received her Bachelors in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Biomechanics and Minor in Biomedical Engineering.
