Allison grew up in Alaska and first moved to Washington to get her B.S. in Biology from the University of Puget Sound. It was here that Allison’s passion for physical therapy started while she rehabilitated injuries following a car accident. She pursued her dream at Duke University where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2007. Upon graduating, Allison spent the following 6 months volunteering as a PT based in Belize City learning creative ways to treat patients with limited resources available. She spent the next 6 years practicing in the hospital setting in Harborview’s acute care, inpatient rehab, and burn units. She brings this wide variety of experiences and education to Eastside Sports Rehab.

Allison transitioned to outpatient physical therapy in 2013. She enjoys treating people with a variety of musculoskeletal and neurologic conditions. Allison is a Certified Manual Physical Therapist through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy and is also a certified ASTYM practitioner. She is a P2-certified Advanced Schroth practitioner, specializing in a scoliosis-specific exercise program that aims to prevent curve progression in juvenile and adolescent idiopathic scoliosis.

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and three children, training for her next half marathon, playing her harp, cheering for Duke Basketball, and working on her latest knitting project. She is always looking for suggestions for her next book club!
